Radda Urges Youth to Embrace Entrepreneurship Over Civil Service

Muhammad Sulaiman Radda, a young businessman from Katsina state, has advised Nigerian youth to focus on business activities rather than relying on government jobs. Radda shared his insights during an interview about his life history on Thursday, March 3, 2025.

According to Radda, the increasing population of Nigeria has made it challenging for the government to provide employment opportunities for all graduates. He emphasized that entrepreneurship offers a more suitable path for young people to achieve wealth and success.

Radda shared his personal experience of starting a business with a small investment, which initially resulted in losses. However, with perseverance and divine intervention, he was able to regain his footing and achieve success. His business has continued to grow, and he credits his progress to God’s guidance.

Hikaya Newspaper Radda cautioned the youth to uphold honesty and trustworthiness in their business dealings. He emphasized that adhering to God’s commands and refraining from violating His laws is essential for achieving success and progress in life.

The young businessman also stressed the importance of patience, focusing on one’s brand, and avoiding the temptation to imitate others. He warned that mimicking another businessman’s strategy can lead to the collapse of one’s own business.

Radda concluded by highlighting the advantages of entrepreneurship over civil service in Nigeria. He noted that entrepreneurship offers freedom, innovation, and unlimited earning potential, whereas civil service is often limited by bureaucratic processes and fixed salaries.

Muhammad Sulaiman Radda also encouraged the youth to explore entrepreneurship as a viable alternative to civil service, emphasizing its potential to create jobs, drive economic growth, and bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
