Alhaji Tijjani Danladi Kaura has been turbaned as the ‘Sarkin Noman Kasar Daddara’ in Jibia local government area of Katsina state. The ceremony took place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Palace of the District Head of Daddara, Alhaji Usman Usman Nagogo.
Tijjani Danladi was born on December 12, 1977, in Kaura village, Bugaje Ward, to Alhaji Abdul’aziz and Hajiya Saudatu. His early education in Islamic studies began at the age of four under the guidance of the late Malam Sahalu, and he later attended Kaura Primary School.
Continuing his education, Tijjani studied at various Islamic schools, including one in Kano State, where he focused on Fiqh and Hadith. His dedication to Islamic education has been a cornerstone of his life, alongside his commitment to farming, which he began in 1995.
Since 2006, Tijjani has participated in the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia with his father. His farming endeavors have been fruitful, yielding approximately a thousand sacks of grains each rainy season, including maize, sorghum, millets, and beans.
In his personal life, Tijjani Danladi married Zuwaira Abubakar in 2003 and later Zulfa’u Abdullahi. He is a father to fourteen children, including a son named Ibrahim, although he mourns the loss of one daughter, Zainab.
The grand coronation ceremony for Tijjani Danladi took place on February 2, 2025, at the Daddara Palace, attended by notable figures including Hon. Bishir Sabi’u Maitan, the chairman of Jibia local government, and Hon. Aminu Aliyu, the vice chairman. The event highlighted the support of local stakeholders and the community’s commitment to Tijjani’s new leadership role.
The appointment letter for the title of ‘Sarkin Noman Kasar Daddara’ was presented to Tijjani Danladi by Alhaji Usman Usman Nagogo on March 6, 2024. The coronation ceremony was attended by notable figures, including the chairman of Jibia local government, Hon. Bishir Sabi’u Maitan, and the Katsina State Director of Library, Alhaji Shafi’u Abdullahi Bugaje.
The District Head of Daddara, Alhaji Usman Usman Nagogo, crowned Tijjani Danladi at the ceremony, solidifying his new title. The event was seen as a significant milestone for the community.
