Residents of Ƴanɗaki Ward in Kaita Local Government Area of Katsina State have continued to express joy and gratitude over the newly constructed primary school built by their member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Sada Soli.
They described the project as a clear testament to his competence and commitment to the development of the area. According to them, the school has greatly eased access to education, especially for young children who previously trekked long distances to attend classes.
In an interview with Hikaya Newspaper, the Founder of Akency Foundation, Hon. Abdulhakim Aliyu Sani (Dan Galadiman Jibia), said constructing a primary school by a lawmaker is a major contribution to community development.
He stated that Hon. Soli understands the importance of impactful legislation and genuine representation, which is why he invests in projects that directly address the needs of ordinary people. He added that establishing the school in Ƴanɗaki has boosted the enthusiasm of children and youths toward education.
Hon. Abdulhakim explained that the project has reduced overcrowding in existing schools and increased enrollment, particularly among girls who often face challenges related to distance and security.
He said the modern classrooms, furniture, ventilated learning spaces and teaching materials provided by Hon. Soli have improved the learning environment for both teachers and students, leading to better academic outcomes across the community.
He further noted that the construction created job opportunities for many youths both temporary jobs during the building phase and permanent positions for newly recruited teachers. According to him, this has reduced idleness among young people and encouraged parents to send their children to school.
He added that such projects demonstrate Hon. Sada Soli’s sincerity, accountability, and dedication to serving his constituents without bias or personal interest.
Hon. Abdulhakim concluded that building the primary school is not merely a political gesture but a strategic investment in the future of Kaita and Jibia communities, as education is the backbone of any society’s development.
He called on residents to continue supporting Hon. Soli to ensure sustained progress, especially as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
