Hon. Abdulhakim Aliyu Sani has stated that most political opponents of the Federal House of Representatives member representing Kaita and Jibia Federal Constituency, Hon. Sada Soli, have benefited from his support more than ten times, yet continue to malign him for selfish reasons rather than out of genuine concern for the development of their constituency.
In a sharp reaction, Abdulhakim condemned the emergence of a new group known as Gwagware Boys, which claims that only those within their camp are the true supporters of Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda. He stressed that it is improper within the ruling APC for members to insult and attack party leaders, urging respect for one another to ensure unity and collective progress.
He questioned why critics focus solely on Hon. Sada Soli while there are other leaders including the President, Governor, Senator, and various elected representatives, all of whom share responsibility for the welfare of the people. According to him, Soli’s record of constituency development surpasses that of his predecessors in Kaita and Jibia.
Abdulhakim also dismissed allegations that petitions were submitted to the EFCC accusing Soli of misappropriating project funds, describing such claims as baseless. He advised critics to first learn about the Federal Constituency Budget and project implementation process before making unfounded accusations. He added that Soli’s contributions in the areas of security, healthcare, and education alone were enough to earn him re-election in 2027 without a campaign.
Finally, Abdulhakim urged the people of Kaita and Jibia to focus on their businesses and daily activities instead of dwelling on political distractions. He emphasized that this is not yet campaign season and advised the community to live peacefully until the appropriate time for politics arrives.
