DMG Foundation Hails Rarara’s Honorary Doctorate

The National Chairman of DMG Foundation, Alhaji Nura Abdullahi, has congratulated popular Hausa singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara on receiving an honorary Doctorate Degree from the European American University.

Hikaya Newspaper reports that he described the recognition as a well-deserved honor, acknowledging Rarara’s immense contributions to the growth of music and socio-political awareness in Nigeria.

Similarly, the Vice Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Sa’adu Salisu, praised the European American University for honoring Rarara, stressing that the award serves as motivation not only to the singer but also to millions of young Nigerians who look up to him. He added that the recognition underlines the importance of creativity and cultural expression in addressing national challenges.

Speaking after the award ceremony, which drew governors, ministers, and leading political figures, Alhaji Abdullahi noted that Rarara has consistently used his talent to shape public discourse and promote unity through his politically inspired songs. He emphasized that such honors highlight the vital role of artists in advancing democracy, peacebuilding, and societal development.
