Gov Radda Honours Security Commissioner

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has honoured the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasiru Mu’azu, with a special award and a commendation letter during the state’s 38th anniversary dinner held at Government House.

Hikaya Newspaper reports that the recognition highlighted the Commissioner’s exceptional service and dedication as a member of the State Executive Council.

In a letter personally signed by Governor Radda, Dr. Mu’azu was praised for his outstanding zeal, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to duty. The Governor described his performance as remarkable, noting that both the government and people of Katsina State were proud of his contributions. “Your dedication and sacrifice make you stand out among your equals, and your performance is commendable and worthy of emulation,” the Governor wrote.

Dr. Mu’azu has played a key role in strengthening the state’s security framework, working with security agencies to combat banditry, kidnapping, and other threats. His leadership in applying both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches has significantly improved security conditions across the state, earning him widespread respect and recognition.

Governor Radda congratulated the Commissioner on the well-deserved honour, while praying for Allah’s continued guidance and blessings upon him. The ceremony was attended by members of the State Executive Council, traditional rulers, and other dignitaries who joined in celebrating Katsina’s 38th anniversary of creation.
