The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq Umar, has officially conferred the traditional title of Sarkin Gabas of Daura on the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Katsina State chapter, Comrade Hussaini Hamisu Yanduna.
The confirmation was made known in a press statement issued by the Daura Emirate, signed by the Danejin Daura, Alhaji Abdulmuminu Salihu. He said the honour was given to Comrade Yanduna in recognition of his contributions to the development of Daura Emirate, Katsina State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Also, the Sarkin Ban Daura, who is the District Head of Yanduna, Alhaji Mohammad Shazaalli, has conferred on Comrade Yanduma the traditional title of Sardaunan Yanduna. He said the title was in appreciation of the good relationship between Yanduna and the people of the Yanduna community.
While congratulating him, the Daura Emirate and the Yanduna District urged Comrade Yanduma to continue with the good work he is known for and to maintain the trust and confidence people have in him.
