Tarbiyyatil Islamiyya Celebrates Graduation of 21 Quran Reciters

Tarbiyyatil Islamiyya Littahfizil Qur’an Waddarasatil Islamiyya school celebrated the graduation of 21 students who successfully recited the Holy Qur’an.

Hikaya Newspaper reports that the heartfelt ceremony held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the school’s campus in the Ramin Kura area of Katsina City, Katsina State, and featured 19 female and 2 male graduates.

The ceremony was guided by Malam Rabilu Usman, the principal of the school, who expressed his gratitude to the attendees and emphasized the importance of nurturing the divine gift of Quranic knowledge. He encouraged parents to support their children in their religious education, highlighting the role of family in fostering a impression for learning.

Sheikh Dr. Aminu Abdullahi Yammawa, Chief Cleric of GRA Friday’s mosque, delivered a compelling lecture on the significance of education in shaping lives. He urged the graduates to remain diligent in their pursuit of Islamic knowledge, noting that men should have high popularity more than women in the educational journeys. He also praised the school’s founder, Alhaji Nuraddeen Dahiru Rafindadi, for his unwavering commitment to the community and the advancement of Islamic religion.

In his address, Sheikh Dr. Abba Bala Gambarawa encouraged the students to utilize their Quranic knowledge wisely. He stressed that active engagement in seeking Islamic knowledge is essential for the community’s spiritual well-being and will lead to salvation on the Day of Judgment.

Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahim Sabi’u Rafindadi commended the dedication of the school’s teachers and the commitment of parents in supporting their children’s education. He acknowledged the vital role that both educators and families play in ensuring that students receive the knowledge necessary for their spiritual growth and success in the hereafter.

Among the graduates, Zainab Kamal Ibrahim, Fatima Umar Masanawa, and Abdulrahman Kamal expressed their gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to graduate the Holy Qur’an. They thanked their teachers for their guidance and their parents for their unwavering support. The graduation ceremony was attended by scholars, students, and community members, including Malam Bishir Sirajo, who represented the school’s founder, Alhaji Nuraddeen Dahiru, making it a memorable occasion for all involved.
