Katsina CP Plans to Strengthen Security and Professionalism

The Commissioner of Police Bello Shehu convened a maiden conference with Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Tactical Command units in Katsina State. The meeting aimed to review and improve existing security strategies to ensure public safety.

During the conference, CP Shehu recognized the exemplary conduct of five officers who rejected a bribe of ₦1 million, arrested two suspected car thieves, and recovered stolen vehicles. These commendations were part of his broader initiative to encourage integrity and diligence among police personnel.

In a statement released by DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, the Police Public Relations Officer, CP Shehu emphasized the importance of dedication to duty and service excellence. He urged officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, which he described as the hallmarks of the Nigeria Police Force.

“Integrity, diligence, and commitment to duty are the hallmarks of the Force. I commend officers who uphold these values and charge others to follow suit,” CP Shehu stated during his address. His remarks reflect a strong commitment to fostering a culture of accountability and ethical behavior within the police force.
