The Katsina State Enterprises Development Agency (KATSEDA) through its partnership with Sterling Bank, has announced the first round of loan disbursement totaling N250,760,000 to micro, small, and medium enterprises across the state.
Dr. Babangida Ruma, Technical Assistant to the Governor on Enterprise Development, revealed that the funds have been allocated to businesses spanning agriculture, trade, manufacturing and information technology sectors.
“This disbursement demonstrates our administration’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth and economic resilience in Katsina State,” Dr. Ruma stated.
According to Dr. Ruma, the loans feature flexible repayment terms to enable beneficiaries to focus on business expansion and sustainability.
“Our partnership with Sterling Bank has been instrumental in making these funds available to deserving entrepreneurs,” Dr. Ruma noted.
He emphasized that this initial disbursement marks the beginning of a broader program to support MSME development across Katsina State while the future rounds of funding will be announced.
Dr. Ruma further encouraged successful applicants to utilize the funds effectively to grow their enterprises, while assuring unsuccessful candidates of future opportunities.
