The State Supreme Council of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Katsina State chapter, held its meeting on Tuesday, 10th Zul-Qa’ada 1446 AH, corresponding to April 28, 2025, where key issues concerning religion and the welfare of the Muslim community were discussed.
In his opening remarks, the State Chairman, Sheikh (Dr.) Yakubu Musa Hassan Katsina (Sautus-Sunnah), expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah and prayed for the success of the meeting. He also urged council members to intensify their commitment to Da’wah activities, describing their role as a divine privilege that must be utilized effectively.
The meeting focused on strategies to strengthen religious preaching and outreach programmes across the state, as well as exploring ways to enhance public awareness. It also addressed matters relating to national development and the overall well-being of Muslims.
Among the resolutions reached were the approval to implement national Da’wah activities in the state under the National Da’wah Committee, the convening of a state executive council meeting, and a directive for all local government chapters to submit reports on their activities for the previous year and the first four months of the current year.
