Breaking: Kaduna Pilgrims to begin 2026 Hajj Journey on May 14

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced that preparations for the 2026 Hajj are progressing well, with plans in place for a smooth exercise

In a statement issued by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti, the first batch of intending pilgrims from Kaduna State is expected to depart for Saudi Arabia on May 14, 2026. This will mark the official start of the airlift operation for the state.

Hikaya Newspaper reports that the agency assured pilgrims and the general public of its commitment to ensuring a safe, smooth, and well-organized Hajj exercise. It stated that necessary arrangements have been made to handle travel logistics, health requirements, and orientation programmes for all pilgrims.

It also advised intending pilgrims to pay close attention to official updates and follow all instructions and schedules provided by the agency to avoid any issues during the process.

The agency appreciated the support and cooperation of stakeholders and prayed for a successful Hajj exercise for all participants.
