A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Bala Nuhu Kankia, has expressed sadness over the removal of former Housing Minister Ahmed Musa Dangiwa from the Federal Executive Council.
In a statement, Kankia said he and his supporters felt deep pain and disappointment after hearing about Dangiwa’s exit, describing it as a major loss in their political journey. He praised Dangiwa as a patient and humble leader who always accepts destiny, despite facing many challenges in his political career.
He recalled that since 2003, when Dangiwa first showed interest in elective positions, including contests for the House of Representatives, Senate, and later the governorship of Katsina State in 2023, he faced several setbacks but remained strong. According to him, Dangiwa later rose to hold key positions such as State APC Chairman, Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, campaign director, Secretary to the State Government, and Minister.
Kankia described Dangiwa as a leader known for honesty, intelligence, and clear vision, adding that his contributions to the housing sector and the APC will always be remembered. He said Dangiwa has never been linked to betrayal, broken promises, or corruption, which makes him stand out in politics.
He called on party leaders and stakeholders across Katsina State and the country to remain fair and thoughtful in their decisions. He also urged members to accept destiny and remain united, stressing that political success comes at the right time according to God’s will.
