Dangiwa thanks Tinubu after cabinet reshuffl

The outgoing Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, has expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving him the opportunity to serve in the Federal Executive Council.

In a statement issued after the recent cabinet reshuffle, and signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Strategy, Mark Chieshe, Dangiwa described his time in office as both a privilege and a call to national service. He said he felt honoured to have led reforms in Nigeria’s housing and urban development sector.

Dangiwa noted that under President Tinubu’s leadership, the ministry made important progress. He highlighted key achievements such as the Renewed Hope Housing Programme, stronger partnerships between the government and private sector, and ongoing reforms in land administration and housing finance.

He also thanked members of the Federal Executive Council, government colleagues, heads of housing agencies, development partners, and staff of the ministry for their support and cooperation during his time in office.

While accepting the directive to hand over, Dangiwa assured that the transition would be smooth and orderly. He wished the incoming leadership success and expressed confidence that the ministry would continue to build on the progress already made.
