IZALA Visits Construction Sites of Mosques Sponsored by Presidential Aide

The Jama’atu Izalatil Bidi’a Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Katsina State Chapter, has paid an inspection visit to ongoing mosque construction projects being sponsored by Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs.

The delegation, led by the State Chairman of the organization, Sheikh (Dr.) Yakubu Musa Hassan Katsina (Sautus-Sunnah), visited the sites on Wednesday, 30th Rabi’a Thanni, 1447 A.H., corresponding to October 22, 2025. The inspection began at Nabanji town in Kafur Local Government Area, where a large Jumu’at Mosque is under construction. The project includes the Imam’s residence, Deputy Imam’s residence, Muazzin’s house, and an Islamic school. The delegation was informed that the work is expected to be completed early next year.

The team then proceeded to Malumfashi town, where they inspected the Low-Cost Jumu’at Mosque, which has also reached an advanced stage of completion. The project is expected to be completed and commissioned in November. Earlier this month, another mosque built by Alhaji Masari was commissioned in Gozaki town, Kafur Local Government Area.

The JIBWIS delegation expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the construction works and offered prayers for Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, commending his commitment to community development through the building of mosques and educational centers across the state.

Members of the visiting delegation included Dr. Nasir Abdurrahman Funtua, Chairman, State Council of Scholars; Dr. Haris Isah Dukke, Chairman, Council of Imams; Imam Safiyyu Alkasim Saulawa, Secretary of the Imams Council; Yusuf Hassan Buhari, Director of JIBWIS Social Media; and Abubakar Abdullahi Yandoma, State Photo Editor. The delegation was warmly received by JIBWIS leaders from the Malumfashi Zone as well as Kafur and Malumfashi Local Government branches, with Hon. Maharazu Adamu Dayi leading the team on behalf of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
