The Katsina State House of Assembly has approved the rehabilitation of key roads in Danmusa, Musawa, and Dutsinma Local Government Areas to improve transportation and ease the daily activities of residents.
During a sitting on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, the House approved the motion for the repair of the Marabar Dan Ali – Dan Ali – Dangani – Kwanar Gwarjo to Musawa road, which links Danmusa and Musawa LGAs. The motion was sponsored by the Member representing Musawa, Hon. Lawal H. Yaro, with the backing of his colleague from Danmusa, Hon. Aminu Garba Sai Baba.
Similarly, the Member representing Dutsinma, Hon. Muhammad Abubakar Khamis, presented a request for the construction of roads from Kofa village – Yar Ruma of Kutawa ward and from Dogon Zoo – Doka of Karofi B ward, all within Dutsinma LGA.
Hikaya Newspaper reports that after deliberations, the House approved all the motions, with the Speaker directing the Clerk to forward them to the executive arm for necessary action.
