The General Manager of the Farmers’ Supply Company (FASCO) in Katsina State, Alhaji Mustapha Abba Radda, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supplying quality seeds to farmers across the state. He said the agency is working tirelessly to ensure that farmers can access various seeds suitable for different parts of the state.
Alhaji Mustapha explained that FASCO is actively educating farmers on how to obtain seeds such as millet, maize, rice, beans, groundnuts, soybeans, and red beans. He added that the goal is to help boost agricultural productivity and food security.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda for supporting FASCO’s efforts and empowering the agency to reach more farmers with reliable agricultural inputs. He noted that the government’s backing has enabled the agency to contribute meaningfully to food sufficiency in the state.
The General Manager urged farmers to visit FASCO offices in Katsina Local Government Areas or the state headquarters to access certified seeds. He also advised them to consult agricultural experts when choosing seeds and warned against purchasing low-quality products that may hinder yield and productivity.
