DMG Foundation Supports 325 People in Jibia

The DMG Foundation has distributed financial and material support worth millions of naira to 325 beneficiaries in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The support included fuel assistance of ₦9,000 each to 210 commercial motorcycle riders, sewing machines to five women whose husbands were killed by bandits, and ₦10,000 each to 110 orphaned children. The initiative is part of the foundation’s effort to reduce hardship and support vulnerable groups in the area.

The Special Guest, Lawal Rufa’i Safana, who represented stakeholders of the foundation, officially launched the programme.

In his remarks, he commended the foundation for its commitment to helping the needy, describing the initiative as timely and impactful, especially in addressing poverty and supporting victims of insecurity.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the foundation, Nura Abdullahi, said the organisation is dedicated to supporting women, youth, and orphans to become self-reliant and live better lives. He added that the foundation will continue to expand its programmes to reach more people in need across the state.

Abdullahi also welcomed guests and appreciated the presence of Alhaji Rufa’i Safana, describing him as a role model due to his contributions to community development. He stressed that collective efforts and partnerships are important in addressing social and economic challenges facing communities.

The Secretary of the foundation, Sa’adu Salisu, said the foundation draws inspiration from the leadership style of Dikko Umar Radda in improving the welfare of citizens.

He also acknowledged the contributions of Sada Soli for his continued support to development initiatives in Kaita and Jibia.

In his remarks, the Vice Chairman of Jibia Local Government, Aminu Aliyu, praised the foundation for complementing government efforts and called on other individuals and organisations to support humanitarian activities.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude, saying the support would help improve their daily lives and ease their economic difficulties.
