The Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, attended the wedding ceremony of the Nices of the Chairman of the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Kabir Magaji Gafiya, in Katsina.
Hikaya Newspaper reports that the Deputy Governor, who led a delegation of government officials and well-wishers, congratulated the newlyweds and prayed for them to have a happy and blessed married life filled with mutual understanding.
The wedding ceremony was held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Usman Bin-Fodio Juma’at Mosque in Modoji, Katsina, where Abdullahi Nura Gafia was joined in matrimony with his bride, Humaira Abdulkadir, while Khadija Nura Gafia married her groom, Sagir Shehu Suleiman.
In a message of appreciation on behalf of his family, the Chairman of the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Kabir Magaji Gafia, expressed his profound gratitude to friends, family members and other associates who accepted the invitation and attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by prominent personalities, senior government officials, family members and well-wishers from within and outside Katsina State.
