The Kebbi State chapter of the APC has suspended its State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana-Zuru, and the party’s Chairman in Zuru Local Government Area, Hon. Aliyu Abubakar Abiola.
The suspension was announced in a statement signed by the APC State Secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad Kimba, and made available to journalists in Birnin Kebbi. The party said the action followed complaints submitted by stakeholders from the Zuru Emirate.

The party stated that after conducting an internal review and investigation into the allegations, it decided to take disciplinary measures against the affected officials.
As part of the decision, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana-Zuru was suspended from his position as APC State Chairman. The party said the Deputy State Chairman would serve in an acting capacity until further directives are issued.
The statement also confirmed the suspension of Hon. Aliyu Abubakar Abiola as APC Chairman of Zuru Local Government Area, pending further action by the party leadership.
