Kebbi State Governor’s Wife Leads Lecture, Visits Orphanage

The Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Dr. Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, recently led a lecture organized by the NTA national channel Kebbi state branch.

The meeting, attended by prominent individuals from within and outside the state, focused on promoting concessions, good relations, and worship, especially with the upcoming month of Ramadan.

During the lecture, Hajiya Nasare Nasir Idris asked one of the invited scholars for a Hajj seat and money, and a calendar was launched. Her team, including Alhaji Isma’ila Mabo, took responsibility for repairing the NTA Mosque and building a women’s toilet. The Commissioner for Education also donated 2 million naira on behalf of other commissioners, with many others contributing to the cause.

In the evening, Hajiya Nasare Nasir Idris visited an orphanage, where she had dinner with the children. She gave them an opportunity to share their problems and immediately provided solutions to some of them. She also promised to discuss the remaining issues with the Governor. The Governor’s wife offered words of advice and promised to provide a special Iftar meal for the children throughout the fasting period.

Hikaya Newspaper reports that the Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris’s efforts demonstrate her commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting community development. Her visit to the orphanage highlights her dedication to improving the lives of those in need.

The Governor’s wife has been actively involved in various philanthropic initiatives, including the Nasara Foundation, which has provided medical outreach programs and support to orphans and vulnerable children.
