Atiku says opposition struggle not over after court ruling.

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has said the opposition’s struggle in Nigeria is still ongoing despite the Supreme Court’s decision affirming David Mark as leader of the African Democratic Congress.

Speaking shortly after the judgment, Atiku warned supporters not to relax, saying more effort is needed to “rescue” the country. In a statement shared on his social media page, he described the court ruling as an important step, but not the end of the journey.

He said the decision should not be seen as final victory, stressing that the road ahead is still long. According to him, the outcome of the case is a milestone that should encourage supporters to remain focused and committed.

Atiku also dedicated the victory to Nigerians, whom he described as strong and determined despite challenges. He called on citizens to remain united and vigilant, adding that democracy can only grow when people continue to stay engaged and protect their rights.
