Credit Direct Limited has provided food items to 50 people affected by banditry in Katsina State, demonstrating its commitment to supporting victims of the ongoing crisis.
The grant, held on Friday, December 20, 2024, was facilitated by the Office of Hon. Saidu Ibrahim Danja, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Victims of Banditry and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Hon. Saidu Danja expressed his gratitude to Credit Direct Financial Group for their support, highlighting the challenges faced by victims from Batsari and Jibia local governments. He attributed their displacement to harassment by miscreants, underscoring the need for collective efforts to address the crisis.
Haj. Binta Hussain Dangani, Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), praised the intervention, emphasizing its positive impact on the affected victims of banditry. She urged beneficiaries and the community to persevere in prayer for peace, recognizing its potential to mitigate the country’s problems.
Comrade Musa Ayyuba, coordinator of the Credit Direct Limited in Katsina State, emphasized the company’s desire to contribute to the well-being of those affected, acknowledging the government’s efforts to support victims.
