Governor Radda Mourns Chief of Staff’s Wife
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajia Hauwa (Maijeddah) Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Hajia Hauwa passed away on Tuesday evening in Kano after a brief illness. The governor described her as a humble woman with strong moral values who maintained good relationships with people.
According to Governor Radda, she was respected by family members, friends, and everyone who knew her. He stated that her death is not only a painful loss to her husband, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, and the immediate family, but also to relatives, friends, and associates.
He added that her passing has created a big gap that will be deeply felt by many. The governor prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest.
Governor Radda also extended his condolences to the family and prayed that Allah gives them the strength and patience to bear the loss. The funeral prayer (Janazah) is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., after the Zuhr prayer, at the GRA Mosque.
