Sadauki Support Foundation Distributes ₦250 Million Aid

The Sadauki Support Foundation has distributed aid worth ₦250 million to many residents of Kaita and Jibia Local Government Areas of Katsina State.

The foundation, established by Alhaji Muhammadu Halliru, popularly known as Sadaukin Jibia and Jagaban Yamama, organized the support program to assist orphans and other vulnerable people during the holy month of Ramadan.

The first phase of the program took place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the premises of Hajara Community School in Jibia, while the second phase was held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the residence of the District Head of Kaita, , in Kaita town.

A report by Hausa Daily Post stated that the support package across the two local governments included cash assistance to many people, ten cars, twenty motorcycles, thirty Android phones, and 7,200 bags of rice and maize. Each rice bag weighed 10 kilograms while each maize bag weighed 20 kilograms.

The beneficiaries included members of the APC, traditional rulers, religious scholars, women, youth groups, and other residents from different communities in Kaita and Jibia Local Government Areas.

Speaking with Hikaya Newspaper after the launch of the program, the Vice Chairman of the foundation, Comrade Umar Mansur, said the foundation was created to serve humanity and reduce hardship, not for political reasons.

He also commented on calls by residents of Kaita and Jibia urging Halliru to contest for the House of Representatives seat for the constituency. Mansur said many people believe Halliru has the capacity to provide effective representation and development, but noted that Halliru has not yet responded to the call and the public is waiting for his decision.

In his remarks, the District Head of Kaita, Alhaji Yazid Abdulkarim, praised the initiative and described the support as timely, especially during the Ramadan period. He said the assistance would help ease hardship among families and encouraged other well-meaning individuals to emulate such acts of generosity.

Community commentators also commended Halliru’s continued humanitarian efforts, describing his support programs as a strong commitment to community development and social welfare in the area.
