The wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda, has congratulated Hajiya Bilkisu Yusuf Suleiman Jibia, wife of the newly appointed Commissioner for Primary and Secondary Education, on her husband’s appointment by Governor Radda.
Hikaya Newspaper reports that the congratulatory visit, which took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, was led by Hajiya Habiba Abdulhamid, wife of the Commissioner for Rural and Social Development and Chairperson of the Katsina State Commissioners’ Wives Forum, who represented the First Lady during the visit to Hajiya Bilkisu’s residence in Jibia.
During the visit, Hajiya Habiba Abdulhamid conveyed the First Lady’s appreciation to Hajiya Bilkisu for her active role in uniting and empowering women within Jibia Local Government Area, while commending her for the support and encouragement she continues to give her husband in his public service duties.
She stated that the appointment of Hon. Yusuf Suleiman Jibia is viewed by the First Lady and the Governor as a well-deserved opportunity and a trust that should be used to advance the state’s educational development, particularly in strengthening teachers’ welfare, student learning, and school infrastructure.
In her response, Hajiya Bilkisu Yusuf Suleiman expressed joy and gratitude for the visit made by the Commissioners’ Wives Forum on behalf of the Governor’s wife, saying the gesture had greatly encouraged her to continue supporting educational programs and women’s development initiatives across Katsina State.
She thanked Almighty Allah and Governor Dikko Radda for the opportunity granted to her husband, while assuring her continued commitment to supporting the state government’s vision for improving education, morals, and community growth.
Hajiya Bilkisu also extended special appreciation to the First Lady of Katsina State, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda, for her consistent care, mentorship, and support toward the wives of commissioners and government families in general.
She said the visit reflected the strong unity, cooperation, and sense of purpose that exist among government officials under Governor Radda’s leadership a mark of a compassionate and people-centered administration built on respect, teamwork, and service to humanity.
