Mbah Credits Tinubu’s Subsidy Removal

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State says the removal of fuel subsidy by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has provided the resources for the state to embark on massive infrastructure projects.

Speaking at the Government House, Enugu, during a courtesy visit by a federal government delegation led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, for the two-day Citizens’ Engagement Series in the South East, Mbah said the policy had enabled the state to fulfill campaign promises.

He highlighted ongoing projects including the construction of 7,000 classrooms, 3,300 hospital beds, and 2,000 hectares of farm estates across all 260 wards.

The governor expressed readiness to continue supporting federal government policies, noting they serve the best interests of the people of Enugu State. The minister’s aide, Rabiu Ibrahim, issued the statement.
