The Katsina State AIDS Control Agency (KATSACA) will organise an awareness campaign on preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV, alongside the distribution of 200 mama kits to pregnant women in Ingawa, Katsina State.
Hikaya Newspaper reports that the event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the General Hospital, Ingawa. The First Lady of Katsina State, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda, will attend as the Special Guest of Honour.
The Katsina State Commissioner for Health, Hon. Musa Adamu Funtua, will also attend as Guest of Honour, while the Executive Secretary of KATSACA, Dr. Bala Nuhu Kankia, Sadaukin Kankia, will host the event.
KATSACA management has invited members of the public to attend the programme, which aims to raise awareness about preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV and support pregnant women through the distribution of 200 mama kits.
