Garo resumes duty as Kano Deputy Governor

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Murtala Sule Garo, has officially resumed duty at his office at the Government House in Kano.

Garo resumed work on Wednesday alongside top political leaders, including former governors Ibrahim Shekarau and Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Others present were former Deputy Governor Abdullahi T. Gwarzo, federal lawmakers, and key political stakeholders from across the state.

Speaking at the event, Garo thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the trust placed in him. He also appreciated party leaders and elders, especially members of the All Progressives Congress, for their support and guidance.

He assured that he would remain loyal and work closely with the governor to serve the people. Garo said he would follow the advice given to him and carry out his duties with dedication. He also prayed for Allah’s guidance as he takes on the new responsibility.

Garo reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the “Kano First Agenda,” which focuses on improving education, healthcare, water supply, agriculture, and job creation. He added that the administration will continue to promote peace and economic growth, especially for the benefit of young people in the state.
