Two top politicians in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, are expected to formally join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) today, Sunday, ahead of the 2027 presidential race.
The planned move was made known in an invitation shared with journalists through the party’s media platform. The event is scheduled to hold by 2:00 pm in Abuja, where the two leaders are expected to officially declare their membership in the party.
They will be received by the NDC National Leader, Henry Seriake Dickson, and the party’s National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, along with members of the National Working Committee. Party leaders described the development as a sign of growing confidence in the NDC across the country.
