A chieftain of the APC and aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Bakori/Danja Federal Constituency, Hon. Abduljabbar Surajo Guga, has called for fairness and inclusiveness in the selection of the party’s candidate ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a post shared on his Facebook page following ongoing consultations among APC stakeholders across Katsina State, Guga commended stakeholders in Danja Local Government for conducting a consensus process to choose an aspirant, describing it as a sign of unity and political maturity.
He, however, urged stakeholders in Bakori Local Government to also be given the same opportunity to conduct a similar process, stressing that such balance would ensure justice and equal participation for all parties involved.
Guga added that allowing all aspirants to contest fairly would help produce a credible candidate accepted by the people, in line with Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s repeated calls for justice and people-oriented leadership. He prayed for wisdom and fairness among party leaders to ensure the progress of the APC.
