Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Wednesday led a high-level government delegation to attend the burial of the late Hajia Hauwa (Maijeddah) Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, wife of the Chief of Staff, Government House Katsina.
The Janazah prayer was held at the GRA Mosque at about 1:12 p.m., shortly after the Zuhr prayer. Family members, government officials, and many sympathizers gathered to pay their last respects. The late Hajia Maijeddah was later buried at about 1:45 p.m. at Gidan Dawa Cemetery in Katsina.

Islamic clerics and religious leaders offered prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus. They also prayed for the family to have strength and patience during this difficult time.
The delegation included top government officials such as the Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Garba Faskari; the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; and other senior officials. Lawmakers, members of the State Executive Council, judicial officers, party members, and many relatives and friends also attended to pray for the peaceful rest of her soul.
