DMG Foundation Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Tingilin

The DMG Foundation has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, Engr. Tukur Hassan Tinglin.

The Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Nura Abdullahi, popularly known as Tallafin Jibia, led the delegation during the visit on Saturday, February 29, 2026, to the family residence of the deceased in Malumfashi town, Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. He was accompanied by the Secretary of the Foundation, Alhaji Sa’adu Salisu, known as Sarkin Tsafta, and other officials of the organization.

During the visit, the Foundation expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Engr. Tinglin, who died last week following a road accident. Members of the Foundation said they came on behalf of all officials and members to sympathize with the family and the people of Malumfashi over the great loss.

Speaking during the visit, Alhaji Nura Abdullahi described the death of the Water Board Managing Director as a rude shock. He said Engr. Tinglin was known for his commitment to public service and his efforts to improve water supply across Katsina State. According to him, the late official worked hard to ensure that clean water reached many communities in the state.

In his remarks, the Secretary of the Foundation, Alhaji Sa’adu Salisu, also extended condolences to the Katsina State Government, the people of the state, and the family of the late Engr. Tinglin. He prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive the deceased and grant his family the strength to bear the loss, noting that his death during the holy month of Ramadan is a reminder of his faith and devotion.
