The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) at the national level, who also serves as the National Director of Da’awah and Katsina State Chairman of the organization, Sheikh (Dr.) Yakubu Musa Hassan Katsina, popularly known as Sautus-Sunnah, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to all those who attended the wedding ceremony of his children held on Friday, 7th Safar, 1447AH, equivalent to 1st August, 2025.
Hikaya Newspaper reports that the wedding took place after the Jumu’ah prayer at the Jumu’ah Mosque, G.R.A Gidan Dawa, Katsina, where the national chairman of JIBWIS, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, officiated the marriage.
Sheikh Sautus-Sunnah began by thanking Almighty Allah (S.W.A) for the blessing of witnessing such a joyful occasion. In his words: “What I want to say is, O Allah, I thank You, I thank You, Alhamdulillah.” He further expressed deep gratitude to the National Chairman of JIBWIS, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, and the National Secretary, Sheikh Muhammad Kabir Haruna Gombe, for their presence and the special walima (wedding lecture) they delivered in honor of the event.
He also expressed his appreciation to the numerous dignitaries who traveled from across Nigeria and neighboring countries to attend the wedding in Katsina, as well as to the people of Katsina State for their warm reception and support. He prayed for Allah’s reward for everyone who contributed in any way to the success of the ceremony.
Finally, Sheikh Sautus-Sunnah appreciated those who were unable to attend in person but sent representatives, made phone calls, or offered prayers for the couple. He stated their gratitude remains strong and sincere. Concluding his message, he offered prayers for everyone’s safe return home and asked Allah to reward all efforts in maintaining and strengthening ties of kinship. “Thank you, thank you,” he said.
